Hi!

I'm new to the ABN thing but not new to Arabians!

I've been riding and showing Arabians and Half-Arabians in UT and the west for about 12 years. I've been out of the show world for almost 2 years, and recently lost my half-arab hunter gelding to Colic. I have a PB yearling colt (name pending) Formal Attyre (TR Gladiator x Blythe Spirit D) and am in the process of purchasing another Pure Polish mare.

I am also looking for a PB gray mare that I owned from just after she was born ( I purchased her & her dam in a package deal) until 2004.

- Picadilly Grey AHR#589923 (GlitterNGold x Amfibia North [x Nariadni]) foaled 5/19/01

I sold her in Utah 2004, and last I heard (a few years ago) was that the woman I sold her to had taken her to my old trainers' facility. She then came and took the mare when no one was there and never paid the trainer. No one has heard anything from her since.

This is a very nice mare, she was 14.3 - 15hh when I sold her as a 3 year old. She was in the process of graying out, so I imagine by now she will be definitely gray.

I am trying to find out 1) if the mare is OK and 2) if she's in a situation that she needs to get out of.

If anyone with Datasource can track her down...or if anyone knows anything about this mare, I would really appreciate the info!! She is the only horse i've ever sold that I worry about and don't feel "right" about having sold. I will post pictures of her soon!

Welcome to ABN, and cool to have you so exited about Formal Attire! (I can't spell it your way yet)! I have your envelope matter of fact in my back pocket for you! From the photos he looks a bit like his sire through his body.

Also, you were part of the magnificent job showing TR Krimsen Psyamurai (Psymadre x TR Krimsen Lace by *Nariadni) and hopefully we'll met and put be able to put a name to the face!

I did see some progeny of Glitter-n- Gold here Heidi Franzen knew quite a bit about this stallion and his whereabouts! I can dig up her email I have it somewhere....Don't know specifically about your mare however...

Hi--looked up Picadilly Grey and she has won the last several endurance races with the same owner mentioned one in 2008. So she is doing well and apparently a very good endurace horse.

I do remember her dam if you never saw her she was gorgeous a huge bodied mare, grey, with black dappling throughout her legs and body, they called her "North" at Dr. Hayward's and she was I believe the foundation of their breeding program.

I also remember her breeders they bred to Echo Magnifficco quite a bit, I was at the same barn at Dean Mason's and I remember their children--really nice girls who baked their horses cookies, etc.!

Just for your information, one who loved this mare's dam is/was Kathy Linford of Cedarwood Arabians. She worked for Dr. Hayward before Cedarwood. Also, North is a Pure Polish daughter of the *Aladdinn son Northerlei, out of Flisfibia by *Flis, dam line to *Amfibia. So, she doesn't have any *Nariadni in her.

Anyway, eveything looks like the paperwork is in order for your colt to be registered thanks for all of your great work!
