Blackberry Run Arabians
"CP AMBITION is a predominantly Polish stallion with a remarkable heritage. His sire and three of his four grandparents are National winners and three of his grandparents have produced National winners. His pedigree features four close lines to U.S. National Champion Stallion and Park BASK++, the breed’s all time leading sire of champions, National winners, and National winner producers. Three of these lines are from horses of the *BASK++/*GDYNIA++ cross, one of the breed’s most successful nicks. All of the 6 individuals of this cross produced champions, three are National winners themselves, and four have produced National winners."

I'm new to the arabian horse world, and just recently got into it, but it's only been a couple months and I'm OBSESSED!!! I'm trying to learn as much as I can. Anyway, I bought this filly about 2 or so months ago, and just recently started really getting into the breeding and bloodlines and want to learn, so I'm sorry for my newbieness. I'd like you to just tell me what you think honestly of her and tell me how good her bloodlines are.
So she was born March 2007 out of Innishfael Dragon and Asu Marifa. Here is a link for you to fully look at her pedigree.

http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/innishfael+johara

She's from a breeder in Minnesota who goes for the quality arabian heart and looks that has sabino paint on the outside. You can check out more about her at

http://innishfael.com

There are videos of her sire, Innishfael Dragon at this link:

http://youtube.com/results?q=innishfael+&search_type=

So, I'm not sure what else to say about her....Her blood goes back to Bey Shah and NV Shalako, she is a solid bay, with full face markings and two leg markings. So... critique away!

I can't figure out how to get the pictures onto this page, but I tried attatching them, but if they don't show up, you can check my galerie and there are pics of her in there. I'll be putting up some more recent pictures of her soon too. Thanks

OK! So the pictures did work! So here's a couple more. The first two are her sire, Innishfael Dragon. The third of her granddam, BR Peaches Moore, and, the fourth is, of course, Bey Shah. The fifth is her grandsire, RLink to Blue. Thanks again.

I think you picked a very nice filly for your first horse...VERY well put together...I see a lot of her sire in her! Good luck with her!

Thanks! She's actually not my firts horse, just my first arabian. She really does look like her sire. I can agree with you there!

welcome to ABN! i am so very glad that you bought johara and learning about arabians and pedigree. johara has a full sister, innishfael danu - born in may of this spring. they could have been the same filly except for the coloring!

johara has lovely legs and an excellent hip. she will do very well in western or hunt, just my opinion. i havent seen her move in quite a while, but i remember she had lovely movement and those HUGE eyes.

do you have any other recent pictures of her? i would love to see them!

what are your plans for her?

I like Sheila am addicted to the pedigree along RLink to Blue. Your filly is well put together and should be a great willling performance horse with the opportunity to throw color with the right stud. congratulations on a fine find.

Thank you Sheila and copperview! I did just have some new pictures of her taken last week. So, I'm waiting for the lady that took the pictures to send them to me. And when she does I will definitely post them in my gallery.
As for my plans for her; As of now, she is happy in her new pasture with her new arab gelding buddy. And I work with her almost every day. She's very high spirited and beautiful! So we're just working on trust and building our relationship up. We're also working on getting her to balance herself and be in control of and understsand her body and her body movements.
When she is old enough to ride, I plan on riding her english. And some jumping and dressage. We probably won't seriously compete in those until she's about 5 or so, though. I'm really excited and can't wait, though, because even as an amateur in arabians, I can tell she's going to be amazing!
I was really hoping to take her to some yearling halter shows this summer, and still am, but I'm fairly new to the show world, and I don't know where to look for arabian shows. I have showed my palomino paint QH, but only in real beginner shows. So it's frustrating for me because I know she has a super chance of excelling in the show ring, but I don't know where to find the shows. mad.gif
But we're having a great great time together!

SINCE you asked, here is what I think...you could have closed your eyes and asked for a filly from Sheila's program and been guaranteed quality from A to Z; pedigree, conformation and disposition. Her program is just that consistent, as is her integrity. I no longer breed half arabs but if I was searching for a half arab, ww(read athletic/calm) prospect, especially one of color - the first farm I would inquire to would be Sheila's. The filly you have chosen is nothing short of stunning, IMO!! SUCH a hip, neck well made and set on nigh perfect to a well laid back shoulder. Straight, strong legs, TYPEY TYPEY TYPE, big eye, tight ears, short back....what's not to love and admire! You started off with a bang, right out of the gate, if you were to ask me and uhm...you DID, lol!
