I have just found this forum. Anyone have a suggestion on a ride to go go the end of September or anytime later? We have just moved to the southern tip of Illinois and most UMECRA/ AERC rides are too far up north.

there are a few NATRC and MODTRA rides around southern ill. and north MO. i know www.natrc.org a natrc ride that was scheduled earlier in the year got flooded out and they moved it to on the MO boarder to late august or sept.

Hello-
You are probably not far from several of the southern IN rides- they hold quite a few there. AERC Nat Ch are in southern IN this year. The fall rides are Cave Country and Spook Run that i know of there.
Several in TN - Big South Fork is mid-east TN in Sept. Willow Creek is near Land Between the Lakes on the KY/TN border. City Slickers is in Memphis in March.
I would just go to AERC.org and heck out the calendar- if you are an AERC member you can set up a personal calendar- makes it easy to kinds hop thru regions and see what rides are there.
