Note -- COBRRA (Colorado Owners and Breeders of Racing Arabians) is hosting an 'Arabian Racing Day' at Arapahoe Park this Sunday.

A WONDEFUL program that has been going on for several years now. Those who want to attend can go to the backside to meet the trainers. Watch workouts. Here talks on training, racing, how to become involved. Have a LOVELY dinner. And watch and bid on the races.

Congrats Billie!!!

I was watching that race closely and hoping your boy would won on two points, first for you, and second we are considering running Emaranta against the boys if she didn't have to face him. With Dancers winning, he moves up in conditions and we won't have to worry about that. He is certainly paying his way!

Thanks Jeff and everyone else...OMG! that was exciting I couldn't believe he was last for what seemed so long! Then Durazell was coming on so fast...I was yelling so loud my dog was barking!

When is Emaranta going to race the "boys" ?

There is an extra NW2 next weekend and it will be written as an "if over". That means there will be two sides to the race, a filly/ mare side and open (for both colts and fillies) side. When you enter, you have the option of entering a filly in just the mare side or on both sides. If you do both, if F/M doesn't fill, then she would be automatically will entered in the open side. We certainly one would hope the filly/ mare side fills as this will be an easier race for her. There is the danger, however, the the F/M side wouldn't fill and if we didn't if over, she wouldn't get a race. Before we committed, we wanted to watch Dancer's race as he was running above his conditions in a NW3 today, if he didn't win he could run back in the NW2. Now, without Dancers in there, the colt side suddenly got a lot easier. Believe me Billie, I was almost as bummed as you to see him break slowly, glad he rallied!

We haven't made a decision to enter Emaranta against the boys yet, but this race played a part of the decision process.
