I was out at the local Fleet Farm today, (to pick up horse salt blocks and wormer) and I noticed the prices of the wormers were WAY UP again.

What is it??? Because it is Spring? Last fall, wormer prices dropped dramatically, now they are up by several dollars each. What gives anyway!?

So, I didn't buy any, and thought I'd look online to see if I can find a better price.

I really like the Farnam Iverease, comes in powdered packets and mixes in with the feed. No struggling with the paste stuff, and they gobble it up completely. It was over $10. Last fall, one package was $6.00.
Last Fall, the paste ivermectin was $3.99 each. Good price! Now it too, is about $9.00 each.

I wish Farnam would make the ComboCare in a powder, that takes care of tapes too. I can wish!

My status

Kay, I buy a bottle of liquid wormer from my vet. 10 doses for $42.

It's Ivermectin and I just occasionally use another brand.

www.countrysupply.com, ivermectin is almost always under $3/syringe,shipping free on anything over $50. I get all of my wormers there, use bloodlinesupply for innoculations, cannot beat either's prices anywhere else that I know of. Good luck!

My vet has a generic brand of ivermectrin liquid, doses 10 horses for $20 I am very lucky:) I do usually paste anything under a yearling though because the dose is soo small in liquid that i just feel better knowing I can see the paste get in them for sure.
