I got 2 fillies back in July; both were bred by my friend Susan Haws of Tangled Mane Arabians, I've known her since I was 12 and have admired her lovely Arabs for several years. I had 2 Arab geldings before I got my girls, but one I rescued and had no idea about his pedigree, and the other I purchased from Susan back in 06', he was a full brother to one of my fillies; Delila and I do believe they are both Al Khamsa, but I am not sure... I really don't know much about Arab lines.

Neither are registered yet, but will be very soon. I have seen there sire Ruuqa countless amounts of times and have seen their mothers a lot too, as well as other siblings.

Here are their pedigrees..
Ruby (who I would like to register as Bassira Moniet

&

Delila

Thank you so much to anyone who can help me out!!...

weelll...
you obviously already know their pedigree and know about using the allbreed site, keep clicking on ancestors, you can learn a lot from there.
Is there anything specific you were interested in?

I know about Some horses in both their pedigrees, but allbreedpedigree doesn't have info on a lot of horses and sometimes the info listed is not factual. I ran into this with some QH's and TB's I've owned. I was wondering if someone could just tell me more about their breeding, and if Delila is actually Al Khamsa, and if Ruby is SE not just SE sired. Thanks smile.gif

btw I like your stallions!

As far as I can tell all of your fillies's ancestors appear to be Straight Egyptians, so both of your fillies are SE. Their pedigrees appear to be a nice mixture of famous SE horses without too much inbreeding. The first filly's maternal line has some Pritzlaff bred horses which are known for their action. The second filly's maternal line has a second cross to The Minstril, who is a SE son of Rumanaji Ali that appears in the pedigrees of many world-reknowned horses such as Ali Jamaal, Gazal Al Shaqab and Marwan Al Shaqab, etc. I would recommend that you post their pedigrees in the Pyramid Society thread and ask for opinions there. I would really love to see some pictures of these fillies too.

Wow, thanks you all! I really appreciate it!!... Thank you for the links too Awana, I will definitely do some research on strains.

Here are some pics of them. They do neither of them justice, but soon I will get some better ones.

((oh and I hate leaving halters on horses but both of them are Very hard to even pet still, but I am working with them; I can't wait to take them off and be able to pet them without having to grab the halter.. lol
