Welcome to Arabian Breeders Network
Love N' War Arabians
The addition of MS FIREDEVIL promises to add another level of excitement to our Polish breeding. He is available to the public by shipped semen. There is no memory for me, of not loving horses, when I remember nothing else I will love Arabian horses.

Way to go Dan...I knew he could do it!

Starting off the Retama Meet last night... not just one, but two $7,500 races for Maidens going 5 1/2 furlongs. There were 17 entries for the race in the book and Racing Secretary James Leatherman split the field and made two races. Winners of these races were both by the stallion OKBA. Congratulations to The Tunisian Prince, owned by Everetta and Dan Woods, and Terminal Velocity, owned by Mathew Glover, and to all their connections.

I'd love to offer congratulations, but what did he do? I think I missed something!

Thanks. Everetta and I took an afternoon off and went to see the races. We haven't seen one of our own race since last summer so watching a win was great.

We have two horses at the track now. Two more will be ready to run in October. We have 11 two year olds including two colts, Wojslaw sons out of Monarch daughters that we're really excited about. They will start in November and should start running in May or so.

Additionally, the winner of the second race spent much of his youth at our place. His owner at the time, Liz Brand, was training for us and boarded him and his dam while she went race track to race track training horses. I didn't know who he was until after the race. Liz told us while we were watching the replay.

The purses are FANTASTIC at Retama this year and I hope they continue when we go to Lonestar. First paid a little over $4,000. That'll buy some oats and shavings.

Congrats Dan,

I just saw the Prince got one in the TABA results. I am not surprised, he was certainly close in CO. I saw him on the walker coming back from a gallop and had to yell to Mark who that was. He is certainly has the look of a pocket rocket!

I also noticed the purses in TX, it is like it is real horse racing!

Congrats again,

Jeff

PS I used Guillermo on Emaranta last year when he was a bug. I thought he did a great job. We would have put him back on, but didn't come back to CO.

Thanks Jeff. We have a 1/2 brother that is 2 this year. He is by Wojslaw and out of the same mare (Little Princcess). Much better than Prince and bred to be a herdsire. Hopefully, his racing carreer will support that theory.

Purses here are great. I'm not sure how long they will last at that level. We were able to break even and have a few bucks left over after the Colorado meet. We could even think about making money with these purses. The effort to get vlt's at the track is going in the right direction. If that goes through racing in Texas will be a lot of fun.

Congrats Dan! Hopefully you'll have them running at SHRP so I can go and watch.
