The Region 17 Fall Meeting will be held in Grande Prairie Alberta October 3rd. Friday evening is the meet and greet party and after the meeting Saturday there wil be a dinner.

Our Show Commission meets starting Thursday. There are lots of issue to discuss such as a policy manual and a judges selection committee as well as all the usual show planning details. At the general meeting there is a revised constitution being presented so it is really important that clubs send their delegates to this meeting. West Jet has been having great sales so even though we are heading a bit more north than usual it is not more expensive. Plus we have a good rate at the Holiday inn Express. Hope to see you there as delegates or guests.

I have been talking to my brotherinlaw who was out camping and fishing somewhere near there this weekend and he tells me it is cold already, lol. I am sure the hospitality of the Pomeroy crew will keep us all warm though. I am looking forward to seeing their new facility as I was not able to attend their open house last month.
