Oh gosh Patty, you can bring him over to my house anytime you want!! I was hoping you would keep him forever since you are only in CO. which isn't too far from me.
Where are you? I don't want to sell him just partner him with someone so that together we can afford to promote and stand him. The cost of promoting a stallion is expensive, but as a team we could really do a great job. He has been evaluated as a really promising replacement stallion and with a couple of owners we could do the job right. He is the love of my life and has taken over 30 years of work and dedication to produce. With his sire passed on and his dam's sire passed on he is irreplaceable. Please read the evaluation Jeff Wintersteen wrote after himself and Scott Benjamin went to see him. I believe in this colt more then anything in the world.

On Friday I stopped by to see Patty's prize with Scott Benjamin. The little guy has been sent up to a local training facility for "charm school" (Patty's description) -- leaving home for the first time, meeting other people, learning that pestering mares is not his only role in life, etc.
I have nick named him "Heir Apparent" in personal conversations to John, and I am elated at how prophetic my comment seems to be. I was completely taken by this promising colt. He is a classic Kuhailan, superb representative of Witraz/ Bask heritage in this respect. Well conformed limbs, dry, though a little too much pre-winter fuzz He was extremely well balanced, short coupled (a must for me) with a wonderful square and powerful hip. Probably most important his gaskins are exceptional something that has somewhat been lost on our breed as of late, which, in my opinion, is why we see an aging population of superior performance horses. In this regard alone, he could make a contribution. I loved the way his neck attached, wonderfully hinge and huge black eyes. He has a handsome face and very little white which only enhances his Kuhailan appeal. He is much more than excellent pieces, however, but fullfills an overall picture that is a step forward in all our search of the ideal.
I am truly excited for Patty and her belief in this mating. Breeders ALL know how rare this is. Perhaps just as important, I am excited for John who has gone through a heart wrenching loss only for Andrzejevo to leave this lasting legacy behind. I can only hope my beloved Pejczyk leaves me such a gift before his passing.
