LANCASTER, PA - Speaking from his studio in Pennsylvania, film producer Ron Hevener ("Fate of the Stallion") reported that his documentary about an Arabian stallion and the man who loved him has now marked its 100th television broadcast.

"The film is being aired in over 100 cities across the country and we have just reached an agreement with producers in Australia," said Hevener, who wrote the novel on which the film was based. With music by Spanish composer David Giro', TV programmers are calling the story "heart-warming, beautiful and enchanting."

The story features a bay Arabian stallion and how he shows a young father how to put his life and broken family back together again.

"Art imitates life," Hevener says. The horse in the film is a real-life Arabian stallion named Selket Louchiano. "When I painted the illustrations used in the film, I made the horse bigger than average for an Arabian and with an unusually beautiful, loving face," he smiles. "The search for a stallion to play this role and match the paintings led us to Michigan's Selket Arabians and a bay colt named Louchiano who fit my paintings exactly. It was mysterious."

Plans for the documentary include library presentations, special appearances at schools, malls, horse shows and the development of a sequel. The title song, "Never Let Me Go" is currently receiving radio airplay and Louchiano is preparing for regular appearances on public TV.
