Cassiosum Acres Arabians is so very proud to announce the aquisition of an outstanding older Crabbet bred arabian mare to add to our program. She along with her best friend my new pure polish mare Traverston Kasana arrived yesterday evening. They were together their entire lives so i was very happy to take them both with open arms and welcome them into the broodmare band here.

So without further adue introducing my new crabbet bred mare
JEA KID KHALIMA (Ibn Hathfan x Triple A Khani, by Kaimr) 1986 Chestnut Mare
Her bloodlines include: Serafix, Count Dorsaz, Mraff, Raffles, Faronek and much more.
Pedigree: http://www.allbreedpedigree.com/jea+kid+khalima

Both ladies will be bred in 2009 to my stallion Prime Time SCA for 2010 foals - iam very excited.
Khalima herself has produced BLACK foals even though her pedigree has no black and neither did the stallion
she had been bred to prior. So should be interesting to see what we can get

Here are some pics taken of Khalima just this morning. She is a bit dirty so excuse that and has a bit of filling out to do. However iam excited to have a CHESTNUT arabian mare added to my herd that is made up of mainly all Bays and Greys.

She is pretty and has some great bloodlines. She has many crosses to the great Mesaoud. He was a beautiful chestnut with lots of chrome. Congradulation, on your new girls. What are the bloodlines of the pure Polish mare and can we get some pics?

Congrats Sue!! I think I saw Ibn Hathfan, long long time ago...just trying to think where it was??
Your herd must be increasing alot..LOL I know you have also adopted a few aged horses that needed retirement homes....that is sooo kind hearted!!
I hope you get some nice babies next year!!

Thank you! Yes she sure does have some great lines and iam most happy to have her (and of course my other gal too)
She is a flashy and beautiful gal very kind and loving too - both of them are!!!

Donna - Thanks alot iam happy to have her. I would love to dig up some old pics of her sire if you or know someone who can come across some? Yes i sure do have a nice herd here - and it does keep growing! But i did sell Bekka my egyptian sired mare and my colt is for sale too. So i will be back at 15. But then again i do have several older ones as you know in their late 20's and even 30 yr old. People know iam a sucker for these older ones and i cannot say no to them! So who knows i will probably be getting more in the winter. People know i will take them.

So here are a few new pics taken this afternoon! These 2 girls are inseperable! They do need some weight but that isnt a problem. They are being slowly introduced to grain. They are very content and act like they have been here their entire lives.

Long time buddies you can tell. Just like my girls in my avatar. It's great that you have taken in these old treasures and hopefully you get some great foals too. Here's to the great oldies but goodies. bigemo_harabe_net-122.gif
