Welcome to Arabian Breeders Network
Achaean Arabians
We are located in historic horse country in Northern Virginia. Our farm is home to three Straight Egyptian stallions sharing the honor of having some of the best bloodlines still available in the US.

Since 1981 we have been involved with Arabians, starting with the purchase of our *Morafic grandson, Harem Shamahsheik. At age 28, Sheik is still going strong and still loves to drive the wagons for community events.

There's an article at http://www.polskiearaby.com/?page=news&...g=en&id=516 that also lists some other horses that will participate in this year's ANC (Marwan Al Shaqab, QR Marc, Marajj, Baanderos, ...). I read in some other forum that QR Marc will not be there, though. Anyway, with or without him, it looks like there will be lots of top-class horses this year again. Makes me wish I was going to Aachen...

Just as a little reminder: There will be an internet live-stream throughout the entire show (Friday - German National Championships, Saturday & Sunday - All Nations Cup) Have a look at the official website http://www.all-nations-cup.org/ to find the timetable and video link.

There's also good news for people in other time-zones, who can't manage to watch live:

"Compared to the 25. ANC 2007 we can provide this year an even better and faster stream.
An in addition we will offer this year for the first time a live chat during the live stream of the show. You can chat with friends and other Arabian horse lovers while seeing the show.
As another new services we offer the Video on Demand Service. Like this you can see all classes of the show again. Each class will be online to download about 3 hours after the end of each class."

Janek, Please PLEASE please look for Marwan Al Shaqab, should not be hard to miss ,and let me know if he is wearing something "Fancy" in all one color crystal VERY unusual and different, very masculine......... PLEASE. I am dying to know if he is going to show in it or not. Everytime I get excited about something like this they decide to "use it for photos " or something.......sigh....... I hate to jinx myself by asking but am just dying to know if he wears it or not!
Thanks! Abha Myra should be in her usual silver beaded "Fancy" if she shows too.
photos would be GREAT too!!!

I am wishing you a full and speedy recovery, JANEK! NOT so that you may be our connection, but because you are a stellar guy that deserves the best! GOOD HEALTHY, bro!

I will be cheering all the Polish horses but especially Drabant and Piaff, since I have a new interest in them for the foals I will be getting in 2009.
