I am interested in breeding some of my non-straight mares to a Staight Egyptian stallion next year.

I could not find a link on the Pyramid Society's homepage that gave a detailed explanation of who could show in what classes at the Event, or a list of stallions who were nominated in the Futurity.

Can anyone help?

Thank you.

Is that link updated? I have a colt in the EBC program that is not listed on that list.

I couldn't find the current 2008 stallion list. You could call to get one.

I called and they will update it within the hour. I was a bit confused because I pulled up the 2009 EBC list about a month ago and it was there. :0)

Edited to add the link for this years EBC stallions left.

You can compete in egyptian related classes and the EBC if you purchase a breeding from that program. The link to available breedings is in the previous post.
If you want more information just call The Pyramid Society, they would be glad to answer any questions.

As long as the foal is Egyptian sired, you are able to show it. If the sire is not on that list you can't show in the EBC class, but you are able to show it in other classes.

No problem. That is what I thought you meant, but I wasn't sure.

Just want to mention Eraf Emptahar as a terrific SE sire to show at the EE! - he has sired many EE shown horses both SE and related. And he himself is a several time top 5 and top 10 winner at the EE
Go to Forest View Arabians to see him
