Hi Folks, my husband competed yesterday in the LD 25, I was pit crew. The ride was put on by the Comstock Arabian horse association and base camp was at the Lemmon Valley arena near Reno. Just had to comment that is was so much fun, even with the cold weather. Everyone was very kind and welcoming. The certificates and beautiful mugs as completion awards were greatly appreciated. They had great snacks and water for the riders and plenty of beautiful hay and water for the horses. We had to get on the road, and couldn't attend the dinner; but I heard it was delicious as usual. Thank you very much to Ride manager Jean and the capable group of volunteers. The vets were caring and thorough. A great time had by all!
