I hope all of you who attended SHN this year made it home safely and have had time to rest. Just wondering if you have had a chance to collect your thoughts and get your opinion of SHN...

Was it better or worse than last year's SHN? Was it better/worse than the previous year in Idaho?

How do you feel AHA performed this year (ie, were they able to resolve issues? were they better organized?, etc.)?

What should we expect in Kentucky next year?

We Loved it! I was really hating the idea of going back to Nampa but it IS Nationals-so we go anyway;) but they really did have more improvements like promised.Of coarse the weather always helps when it's nice and Winning can make it all worth it! It was hard work but with good friends and good horses we were very happy.I loved having the hotel right there. IHP will never be as nice a VHP but I am really looking forward to KHP!!!

Those I talked to that went really enjoyed the whole thing. Though nice for us in the East, it is a shame that the National shows can't all rotate to make it accessible for more.

I agree...I like the rotating nationals. I have to admit I had fun, especially after it stopped raining the first night! It seemed to be run better than it was two years ago--fewer problems with conflicts.

What is your perception of the few conflicts. Is the timing better or are people not entering as many classes?

I am REALLY glad to read all of the positive remarks regarding nationals. I hear a lot of people criticizing AHA and the way the run a national show. I had to get the scoop from the real people...the exhibitors! Thanks.
