Digging through the videos in search of 2004 Gorec, also came across this bit of history. Probably a bit too easy, but can you identify this horse in their only appearance at Polish Nationals?

Mystery horse

We have a winner.

Note the wither on this animal, and keep in mind the Poles don't use weighted shoes or pad -- au natural.

He is now at Michigan State University. For those that don't know, it is a student run breeding program that has been very successful. My friend Scott Benjamin, worked hard to get him there. He had significant success there with his initial foals.

They don't have him on the stallion roster, but he is there:

MSU Arabians

Emanor is still owned by Ron and Milo Hart.

Jeff,

I pay close attention to trotting machines, never forget their frame... His motion and carriage is beautiful. I saw him under saddle as well and everything that takes our breath away in this in-hand demonstration, translated into fully equipped and ridden beauty.

There are only two other studs that imprinted this same indelible impression on me concerning this exceptional motion, *Europejczyk and Afire Bey V. All three horses - war horses. *Europejczyk WALKED breaking over level, the only horse I've ever seen do this. Much as Negatraz visually awestruck me with pure beauty, *Europejczyk left me with a visual memory of pure fluid athletic ability. Watching Afire Bey V line up in the finals class at Nationals, Tim Shea up, was one of the most memorable rides I've ever seen. AFBV was everything to me a mount should be. Perfect.

Thanks for preserving and sharing this *Emanor video with us Jeff! Got any of the other two? smile.gif

I loved your sledding pics BTW - wish we had some white stuff here in western Oregon - we just get liquid falling from the sky.
