Well, we made Lucy's slide show. This is a tough ride. Lots of steep hills and rocks all over the place.

She does such a nice job with her slide shows . She did a super one for the Rides of March too . I didn't think to ask her if I could post that one . She also writes the story of her ride to go along with it .

cool looking place , reminds me some of the ride we did down south of el paso texas. where is that? may have to put it on my future ride list....

This ride is in Washoe Valley south of Reno. The ridecamp is 4,600 feet elevation and you probably go over 6,800 feet.

Maz, Peter could better list them than me but you would need to come over for about 6 months and you could do a lot of rides . Within an hour of this one I think there must be 6-10 rides ( I can think of 6 and know there are more )

March-Rides of March, about 1 hour north of this one.
April - Square Nail, about 1 1/4 hours north of this one and some of the same trails as Rides of March
April - High Desert I, about 1 1/2 hours east of this one.
May - Washoe (this one)
May - Washoe same as this one only Sunday
May - Patriots Day 100, about 1 1/2 hours from this one.
June - Lasson Lookout, about 1 1/2 hours from this one.
June - NASTR 25, 50, 75, about 40 minutes east of this one
August - Eastern High Sierra, about 1 1/2 or more from this one.
August - Tour de Washoe, same ridecamp as this one.
September - Patriots Day 25, 50, about 1 1/2 hours from this one.
September - Patriots Day 25, 50 same as above, Sunday.
September - Virginia City 100, about 45 minutes from this one.
October - Comstock 25, 50 about 1 hour north of this one.
October - High Desert II
October - High Desert III both about 1 1/2 hours from this one.

This list does not include some of the California Rides that are 2 or 3 hours away.
