It is hard to contain our excitement about all the new opportunities, programs and members here at ABN. Never in our wildest dreams did we expect this site to take off and skyrocket the way it has in only 10 months of operation. It's just incredible and I want to thank each and every one of you for helping create the largest Arabian horse forum on the internet today. Imagine a site that gets 300,000 page views a day, over a hundred members active at one time, who like you, are reading and responding, that is what we have accomplished.

As of today we have 1,035 active members since our first lone soldier on August 21st, 2006. I am so proud of the family we have become, that's what it feels like to me...a family, a community.

Our members are active in every facet of Arabian horse ownership from endurance to rescue, from shows to trail rides, from the big breeder to the small family operations. It truly does showcase our fine horses, the breed we all love. It is proof that in our hearts we all want the same basic premise, a place to share, learn and proudly connect with other like minded owners.

I have only been a member for a few weeks or so but already I love this plave people respect you here. You ask for advice on your horse you get constructive honest advice, no back biting, or rude comments. I have already made some cyber friends that I cherish, may never get to meet them in person but that is fine.

Dean and your whole ABN crew are doing an awesome job, what a great cyber family you have created.

thank-you Dean and ABN family. I am not only amazed aty all the wonderful folks here but for all the knowledge each and ever member brings to this forum...what I don't know, some one here is happy to inform me without making me feel stupid...one just doesn't find this kind of support and friendship as they do here.

I have to be honest w/u all and say that when I got an e-mail about 10 or 11 months ago about this website I came by to check it out but I was a lurker for a long time. I think one of the first topics I ever read was Dean thanking the members for using their farm names as their sign in. I thought that was weird! I was like, "Okay, this isn't going to last long. Who has time to sit around and thank people for which sign in name they use....?" At the time I was going thru a lot of personal "stuff" and I couldn't fathom using my real information, not after what goes on/went on at other BB's. (I was part of a really nice BB that had a couple minor issues that could have been worked out and then the webmistress pulled the plug w/o warning and for no real reason...over night. It's a scary feeling when the friends you've made and come to love disappear.)
A few months later, things settled down at home and I got another random e-mail and I came back. I don't think I left again after that. When people started leaving the other sites I got a little worried because I was sure they would be bringing the issues and attitude over here. I'm so glad I was wrong. I love this place!

If there weren't you all here, there wouldn't be ABN. I'm one of the 1038 team members and I'm proud of it. Thank you all for the website which makes arabian horses world better .

As I stated in one of my previous posts several months back, ABN "IS" a breath of fresh air and GCA commends EVERYONE for playing fair, being respectful & polite, being considerate and so much more. We ALL know that it really can only take ONE bad apple to cause an uproar and we are so thrilled that ABN does NOT have any bad apples

Kudos to everyone who frequents this board and to those that officiate the board!~!!! What a fine job indeed has been done!

Well I have said it before and I will say it again, if you nourish something with good things it will stay healthy and grow.

I had wanted to have a website for so long, but could not afford to have one made for me. Through ABN, not only was I - a computer illiterate- able to create my own website, that I have full control over, but it is so affordable and by having it hosted through ABN, hits the target audience.

To be able to have the banners on every post we make so that people can access your website just with a click, well how simple can it be! And it is free to place your banner in your posts!Too cool, too easy.

The ability to passively market all the time is so inviting. But the real reason I love it here is the support every one gives each other in good and bad times. Yes other boards had good people who would offer a shoulder to cry on or an understanding heart, but here it goes further and I felt that so strongly with the loss of my foal.

I also can't say enough about a Webmaster who recognized the Canadian members and went out of his way to get the Caanadian Arabian Horse Registry its own link here on ABN as well as a whole forum where Canadians can go and brag or ask Canadian related questions and deal with Canadian based issues. What a great opportunity that has been for me to meet Registry members from across Canada and hear their views and concerns.
