I'm happy to say, I have several black arabians. A black stallion (my avatar image) Faa Star Fabah (DHAR Faa Halim x Bint Fabadeene); a black mare Faa Kristina, also sired by Halim and two grandkids of Halim... Bint Fabadeene and Faa Fabo, a weanling black colt foaled in May of this year. My horses stem from long time black breeder Peggy Wojchik, also from Wisconsin. They've got those lovin' Old Egyptian bloodlines, so steady and predictable.

Here is another photo of my guy, Star. He's well-fed, obviously from this photo! A bit on the fat side this summer.

Kaysa Jerry, 72% CMK. He is my main riding horse and trail mount. We have done everything from showing halter locally to barrel racing. Mostly we have fun!
If he were human....Dennis the Menace or Tyrone!
Mischievous personality and thinks he is THE MAN around here!

Black Streak, Pure Polish
Full of snort but easier to handle on the ground than Jerry, aka Denace the Menace.
A show horse at heart, loves to show off for an audience and the girls.
He is a worrier, esp if a person is around.

Elmarees Al Shama, CMK mare
A super athletic mare, would have been a gymnast if she were human! An extremely kind and easy going mare, not marish, easy to work with, a supreme mother and an occasional show off in the pasture.

Black 06' HA filly,
KHR Kaysa Dazzlinstars (for sale)
PRIMA DONNA all the way...

Southwind Arabians of Texas has a beautiful black Minstril son, The Apostolos. The photos of him don't do him service until one actually sees him in the flesh. smile.gif

Yes, but only a foal or maybe two a year. Halim is no longer producing, he's into his 20's now. She does have a Minstril son - a very nice black New Egyptian stud, Ali Azeem. He has crossed wonderfully on her Halim daughters.

JB, I'd be interested in seeing some pictures of your bay mare & talking to you about her.

They flag their tails & prance
On high stepping hooves they dance.
Give velvet nose kisses whenever they please
And steal our hearts with ease.
Noble hearts & gentle eyes
Toss their manes to the skies
Free spirit & gentle playmate
Show us how life to best celebrate

We were young & headstrong but we lived our lives with passion.
