I think SD has some, but I can't find a website. MN? KS? Nebraska tried once and they haven't had any since, will check if they are going to try again.

I live in extreme western Iowa on the Nebraska border, so that's the area I'm looking.

Mn AHA has sport horse in hand and performance classes on the Friday of their Spring show--March 28th in Winona--not too far from Iowa! The MN Equestrian Center is a great facility--all under one roof and heated!

Others that had sport horse in 2007:
Minnesota
mid-May in the Region 6 portion of the Double the Fun show held in Sauk Centre, MN--between St Cloud and Alexandria
mid-July at the Great Arabian Get Together also in Sauk Centre
early August at the Dog Days Dressage show in Lake Elmo (just north and east of St Paul)

Wisconsin
late June, in Waukesha (by Milwaukee) WDHA has a show and then the Region sport horse classes were held at the same location later in the week.

early Aug, in Jefferson (dont know where that is), WAHA has a show with sport horse classes

SD
spring show had these classes
there was another show in June inHuron SD
region 6 in Brookings in late June --Regionals move to Rapid City in 2008

Yes, there are some in Missouri & Illinois, but that'd probably be farther for you. That being said, here's the shows I know of that offer a good number of sport horse classes.

Missouri All-Arabian Horse Show - March in Lake St. Louis, MO
Illinois/ARAB Inc. Show (also Region 11 Sport Horse Championships) - end of May/early June in Springfield, IL
ABU All Arabian - second weekend in September in Springfield, IL

I know there are other shows in MO that offer sport horse, but I don't go to them so I'm not sure how many are offered.

Yeah, that's quite a drive for us smile.gif

I think we'll try the SD ones next year and see how it goes.
