I happened to run across the listing for these 5 Arabians in Iowa, Gai Parada breeding. Here is one ad: http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/displa...i?petid=8912119There are 3 (now) geldings and 2 mares. I've emailed the rescue organization and they responded: We just got these horses, so we are learning more about them. They were not abused but were an owner surrender situation. Unfortunately, they have not been handled much at all in their lifetime, so they are going to need patient homes with a lot of horse experience. We have learned that the 6 year old stud (now gelding) who has ran with his mother all his life is blind. He really depends on her as his sight horse. A sad situation there. We really strive to place our horses into forever homes, and typically we discourage any breeding of our rescues, though an exception MAY be made in this case due to the fact that we have been told that the Gai Parada lines are good old lines. We have not yet made that determination as an organization. Obviously the studs have been gelded so that is no longer an issue there. I've asked for more info such as registration numbers, but I thought I'd start spreading the word now. Wonderful old bloodlines here!

These are the same 2, I had inquired on July 31. This is the info. I recieved. I lost interest, when they would not send me any more photos other than the ones on the site. I needed more photos to make sure they where what I was looking for. Hi Chris, Both of these mares are full sisters. I will include a pedigree so you can see. They are neat horses and have been well taken care of. Just need a new home as soon as possible. Where are you located? You can see a picture although not good pictures, just gives an idea of body type... at this link http://search.petfinder.com/search/search....;location=52408
