I am so happy!! My Mom and I went to our first 4H show of the season. Proudly, we came back with my mare's first blue ribbons. It was the greatest day of my life!!

Oh, a funny thing that happend was this woman came up to me and started telling me about her Mustangs. I didn't know why or what she was talking about. Mom came over and the woman started telling HER about the mustangs, Mom just smiled and talked to her. Later Mom told me that the lady thought my horse Shelby is a mustang because she has a brand. It was sooooo funny.

The show secratary put us in halter classes even though we weren't groomed for them. I was nervous but I'm glad we had the time in the ring before our riding classes.



After our first halter class my Mom reminded me to show my horse as an Arabian.



These are the ribbons I won for the first half of the day. I had SO much fun riding hunt seat! Mom didn't get any good arena pics of the hunter classes. sad.gif



This is during Western warm up. See, my horse is a nice hunter. lol



I just came up with this costume at the last minute. I am an evil ###### that turned the princess into a horse.



Shelby gets better at Trail Class every time we go in it. Here she is crossing the bridge. (She LOVES going over the tarp. We played a game at anther show called muscial sacks and she was very possesive about getting to the feed sack first- where she had to stand on it. We came is 3rd out of 20!)



Here we are warming up for Western Pleasure.

Wow! You did great! Look at all those ribbons. I used to show in 4-H and my horse did everything too! Arabs are great all around horses. You and your horse look perfect for each other and I'm so glad you had FUN!
