Paradise Egyptian Stud
Paradise Egyptian Stud is pleased to announce that the Al Lahab son, Jadoube Ibn Lahab DMF, will be standing here beginning this fall!! He is absolutely stunning and is very much his sire, World Champion Al Lahab, in looks and type, but will have more size.

Want my opinion? OK you got it. GG Samir was a wonderful, mild mannered, beautiful pure Spanish stallion imported by Jay Stream and given to Wayne Newton. Wayne bred him to his *Naborr, *Aramus, and old Steen imported mares. All babies were very much like their Sire in looks and mannerisms. Most were of the Western Pl. variety but it seemed that the Chestnut offspring had some action. He stood to outside mares so there were other lines bred also. There were some Scottsdale halter Champ.and Western Pl. horses like WN Saydra, LK Mamounaki and WN Knight Rider. WN Antigua was Res. US National Champ. Mare.
I can't post pictures but I'm sure someone will.
CA Hermos was a grandson and there are several of his get showing at the Nationals and have made their cuts.
OH, WN Glory of Joy, by Samir was just Res. Champ West. side saddle AAOTR

Feel free to PM me if you want specifics.

LOOOOOVE *GG Samir and all of his get/grandget I have witnessed. HUGE eyes, typey, strong, full hips, well made and well seton necks (he specialized in producing awesome western horses for the most part), the GENTLEST of natures, a child could handle most of his colts. Smoooooooth gaits and a very willing disposition. Truly, IMO, one of the greats of the breed of ANY lineage. If I was not pursuing Pure Polish lines, I would be hunting up Christie Hart and/or anyone that had some of this blood for sale for top of the line western type Arabians.

Well said Cy..........but I don't think Christie has anything by him. He came to Wayne as a two yr. old. He and Jay did trade a few breedings though.

Thank you for your replies. I quite like a son of GG Samir's in Australia, WN Dasjmir, a very classical horse. He is the grandsire of Bremervale Andronicus and Rahere amongst others.
While we're at it, do you know anything about Dasjmir's dam "Arawisja" (Derwisz x Aralous by Aramus). Her pedigree looks mostly Polish, perhaps I should ask about her on the Polish forum?

I have a GG Samir grandson, Echo Magnificoo x WN Samir Ami (GG Samir) who in my opinion resembles his maternal grandsire much more than his sire.

It is okay. I haven't seen it before and thought it was interesting. I agree he does look more like his maternal grandsire.

You are absolutly right! Can pick them out in any crowd. Who is Samir Ami's dam? Can't find her on data source but I guess there is trouble there according to AHA.
