This was on a list I am a member of, I'm bringing Fa Durra Halim (an 83 stallion) and Sefit En Raa (a black mare who is his pasture mate) home and one of my good clients agreed to take a 3 year old black stallion so now they just need homes for two! Please consider adding these guys to your herd, they are very well bred and need a place where they can be appreciated and enjoyed!

Hello,
I just wanted to remind you about the horses outside of San Luis
Obispo that need re-homed. Lisa Rettke made a brief presentation
about this situation during the AK convention and we are still
working on this issue. Basically, some dear friends of Iona Ristine,
upon her unforeseen death, transported her herd - or what remained of
them to their place in CA. They know nothing about horses, had to
hire folks to help them and have built a holding arrangement for them
until they can get placed in appropriate homes. However, no act of
kindness goes without an accompanying lawsuit, and now they are in
violation of the restrictive covenants of their neighborhood and need
to get these horses outta there yesterday.

We have had some success with finding homes for a few but most
remain. Lisa will take Juans Sable just to give him a home if no one
else will. I thought the
2004 black/bay would make a great gelding.

Please pass this around to everyone you know, especially people who
could provide a home for these horses without incurring huge
transportation expenses. If you get any nibbles, please send them our
way and we can send photos and get them in touch with the folks who
have them. Let's do what we can to help these kindhearted people find
homes for their departed friends beloved horses!!

It looks like the 2004 black bay colt also has a home!
