off to Arrowhead state park in oklahoma for a natrc ctr this coming weekkend, i'll let old roc rest and take trix, who hasn't competed at all this year, is in fair shape but i'm riding the shorter distance. don is taking khid on the open ride, his first solo. this could be interresting...

meantime is anyone close to oklahoma. we are having a fun poker run at Lake Carl Blackwell, Stillwater, OK. it benefits the equestrian facilities there and $25 entry includes lunch and t shirt. prizes are cool. a gps, a gift certificate to long riders gear, and a bunch of other things. (i'm part of the crew for the ride and am not elligible for prizes) i'm also taking out the 'beginners' in an escorted ride to the 'card points' but not the 'longriders' spot...

Just did a poker run this weekend at our local park. I'll be headed to Chandler Ok next weekend, I hope, for an endurance ride.

the bell cow ride, i've done that, come over to lcb for the poker run the 11th. it will be an easy ride, even if you want to go for the 'longriders' prize you can do it in about 12 miles and there's 5 hours to do it in. , lcb has so spoiled me no out and back trails, no crowds, even when the park is crowded... rode last saturday there and the colors were so bright, prettiest i'd ever seen it. good luck at bell cow. when there's a natrc ctr so close with so many friends there it comes first.

I'm working toward a mileage goal with Star in AERC, so i think I'll do Bell Cow if I get to go at all. Got DH home being nurse to him. I really need to get away, LOL
