Well I know alot of us breed for part breds. Lets show the saddlebreds we have and go from there. Show and tell. Okay here's my ole man "DARQ". 1980 stallion by Status Symbol x Gold Flower.Pictured as a young man..
He has been a great sire of NSH. Unbelievably never sired a purebred saddlebred foal! Question: how many Status Symbol sons are known still living?

Here is Mocha(Absolute Striking Image DF) bay tobiano ASB filly. I think she is homozygous for tobiano as both parents are tobiano and she has secondary spotting.

Here is my 3rd ASB mare. She isn't registered because the registry said she can't be palomino. Her dam is palomino(seen the dam but is registered chestnut) and sire was chestnut. It's a shame she can't have her registration papers because of red tape, but love her the same.

Oh what beatiful ladies! Pintos and palomino too..
Another more recent pic. Darq was a Lasma star stallion in the 80's and a founding sire for the NSH breed. Darq has been retired from breeding for a few
years now. I was told by a breeder he might be the only status symbol son
living, I cant confirm that, does anybody know of another? Sure wish we had bred him to a few saddlebred mares, but it may be too late, not sure if he's fertile anymore, but may test him.

I just looked up living Status Symbol sons on ASHA. It says that there are a lot still living. The only question is how many of them are really alive versus not being reported as dead. Regardless, you have a very nice looking boy!

Pentagon (Manhattan Supreme x Fair Contessa)

He's an awesome Saddlebred stallion owned by some friends of mine. These are some pictures I took of him this fall and last fall. I am convinced that he would sire some amazing Half Arabian foals.
