I love the Muscat lineage! So vibrent! I would like to know more about his son [Muscastar] and Grandson [Torastar] if anyone has any info? He is in my Mare's pedigree.

You could ask The Taylor Ranch here in Utah, taylorarabians.com, they may have bred Muscastar or know of him. I think he is in my mare's pedigree as well!

Just found this picture of Muscastar:



It's from the article "Carrying on the Legacy: Champion Producing Sons of *Muscat" by Arlene Magid in AHT, August 1987, and here is an excerpt from the text:

"Muscastar (ex Miss Century by Ga'Zi) is a Scottsdale Reserve Junior Champion Colt and a junior champion colt. He is the first *Muscat son to sire a national winner - his son Muscofir (ex Star of Ofir by *Bask++) is the 1986 Canadian Reserve National Champion Futurity Stallion and the 1986 Region IV Champion Stallion."

Thankx a bunch Nadia! He is so beautiful smile.gif his son Torastar 1982[out of Torosa by Tornado] is my mare's Great Grandsire,on dam's side. The line is just lovely.

Sorry to be so slow on the uptake here but I think Muscastar was bred by the Kales-anyway a beautiful horse!
