Hey Billie. I'm a friend of Dan Woods whom I am guessing you probably know. I have a colt that I am currently showing MR halter and SHIH until it's time for the track! I have never had a racehorse before but we're going to give it a try and see how it goes.

Just saw this, Natalie, DOI, whacks forehead! I have been in Region Nine for over 25 years! I am located about 75 miles SW of DFW, so usually attend all of the Will Rogers Shows. I have a small herd of Pure Polish mares and a PP 3 - 1/2 yr. old colt, Cyclone and a PP gelding. I also have a few Polish/dom. cross mares, as well. I hope to be able to promote Cyclone via shows and such this next year but we shall see...
Anyhoo, thanks for prodding us Region Niners awake, Natalie!!!

Cyclone

P.S. I also am good buds w/Dan and Everetta and last year bred my PP *Origan ex-race mare, HF Geneva to their head stallion, Aransas HF. Cannot wait for that one. Next year, plans are to take both my PP *Algorab dtr. (also ex-racer) ES Dakota and my PP MS Santana dtr. - MS Zamia to Dan and Everetta's PP *Wojslaw son, Shinerbach. Shiner is now headed into race training and Dan says if he does not prove fast enough on the track, he is considering putting him into reining training!! This would suit me perfectly as I am breeding for working western PP arabs, anyway. MLB

I was bummed that there wasn't a Region 9 sub forum so I asked for one to be created! I am pretty active showing in R9 and I used to do endurance...but my mare has been laid off by pregnancy and my time has been dedicated to her colt. I'm becomming good friends with Aransas. I will be showing him SHIH at the upcoming Houston All Arabian Show in Katy. I'm looking forward to it! We'll try to take him to more shows if it works out. I am also becomming good friends with Shinerbach! He's a very sweet and correct boy. You've made some good decisions.
