My status

To Friends of ABN,

A new year is just around the corner and ABN intends to get the ball rolling towards a successful breeding and showing season for our members. Lucky for all of us, January is the perfect time to stay indoors and get some of the endless paperwork out of the way, so that when it begins to warm up, we can devote our energy to hands on endeavors.

Here are some important items we want to pass your way as 2008 draws near:

1. To the AHSBA online e-club members, you can now renew your membership with us online through the AHA website. Look for us under Region 14. To those of you who would like to join, go to the same area on AHA, then choose us, even if you are a member of another club. AHSBA is an active, positive, e-club doing our part through education. We want to thank the EEC for getting the information for the scorecard out and the work they have done to ensure the judges will be ready. We are proud that ABN is taking a proactive positive initiative with the Ammy Army, educating everyone who comes to the site on show ring procedures. This way we can help prepare exhibitors on the nuances of the new system. Feel free to contact Heidi with any questions you may have.

2. If you have upcoming events, please let us know so we can post them on our Upcoming Events calendar.

Stay tuned for frequent reminder newsletters. If you have ideas or suggestions for us, please give us a holler.

I renewed online about a week ago and got my cards today ! I renewed all my memberships at the same time , CDS, USEF, USDF, ApHC and AHA and so far AHA is the only one that's whipped out those cards .

Holy man, did you have to rob a bank to pay all those in one shot, hahaha.

Just a reminder that Futurity and Sweepstakes nominations are due Dec 31st so don't miss that deadline. I will also post this in Hot Topics to make sure people see it.

Does anyone know how I can be affiliated with more than one club? Do I just pay an extra "Club Affiliation" fee?

I do a lot of work with my local club and still want to support AHSBA, I'm sure I'm not the only one that wants to support both.
