Thought this might be a fun topic for everyone. Do you make them, do you keep them & if so what are they? Mine are

1-to let life move at its own pace, to not rush anything
2-Believe in that higher power & that there is a plan that I don't know yet
3-Find good in the people I meet traveling through life

Let's hear yours smile.gif

edited to add #4 & 5-To breed to horses I like regardless of whether others do or not, I'm breeding for me & darnit, I LIKE some of the Magnum horses!
#5-To buy myself one more really nice well bred mare & to start my band of girls.

--------------------
They flag their tails & prance
On high stepping hooves they dance.
Give velvet nose kisses whenever they please
And steal our hearts with ease.
Noble hearts & gentle eyes
Toss their manes to the skies
Free spirit & gentle playmate
Show us how life to best celebrate

We were young & headstrong but we lived our lives with passion.

each year i promise myself not to make new years resolutions, which i never stick to..

my goal for this year is to get into PA plus 2 program in red cross so i can finally start work in my fave field of work then bridge to PSW my first attempt and second attempt were abit disastrous but i will be daymitted if i let that defeat me .. my other goal is to have a drivers licence by the summer and have Drea's care taken care of and getting Drea home and dote on the little princess like she's never been doted on before ... except since a Julie's got her I'm sure she's being doted on, as well... there are other plans in the works also but am not at liberty to devulge them as yet.

and then putting Drea through the ammy army exercises even though discipline is different she's sport horse not an arab but basics are basics... bonding is bonding ..

also working on my artisitc stuff like fantasy manuscrip and painting and getting my collection of poems in right place so down the road maybe they can get published...

Mine are;
To reduce my rear end so that it's no longer the same size as my horse's
I was hoping to wake up this morning with perfect hair & teeth, but that didn't pan out..
To sell a horse, or two
To do my part to make this world a better place...

I answered this in the chat room already, but if I put it here where all can read it, I will have to follow through on it, lol.

My resolution is to totally declutter my home.

I have been on boards for local clubs, regions and registry for eons and that has created such a pile of paper. I keep every scrap from every meeting I was ever at. Now I have even started printing e-mails about regional, show commission and registry stuff. Too much papaer everywhere! Not to mention all my House and Home and Style at Home kind of magazines I keep subscribing to in my hopes of one day building a new home.

I still have clothes from when I was a size 7. Well we all know that I am never ever going to fit those again even if they ever do come back into style. My husband is almost as bad as I am with retention of all our receipts from the 22 years we have been married and all his farm related reading material. He also holds to the belief that he will fit into jeans and shirts from his late 20s.

So, I am doing a whole scale purge of my home. No more down hill ski equipment. His knees are shot and my back couldn't handle wiping out another mogul. And tenting, please. If it doesn't have a bed, tv, fridge and a bath, with a pool and hot tub, I am not going there. So bye bye camping equipment.

I have also put a time frame on this. By March 31st I will be free of clutter! Then maybe I will start in my barn in the spring. And my desk at work after that, lol.

I never make resolutions...

Personally, I LIKE cigarettes ( when I smoke them ) and I don't need to loose weight... and I always TRY to be a nice person, so no resolutions for me.

I do however wish the best of luck to everyone in the coming year, and hope I can be a better person and continue to meet better people ! :-)
