The American Foundation Arabian Horse Association offers Certificates of Designation for Purebred and Half-Arabian Horses registered with AHA with American Foundation bloodlines for the designations of Early American Foundation (all ancestors in the US by and before 1944), American Foundation (all ancestors in the US by and before 1960), American Foundation Bred (75%+ ancestors qualify as AF) and American Foundation Related (25-74% of ancestors qualify as AF).
