With the first meeting set for February 9, 2008, the Joshua Pines Arabian Horse Association is looking for members!

Located in the Southern California, San Bernardino County, High Desert/Mountain area of the Victor Valley (Victorville, Hesperia, Apple Valley, Phelan, etc) and our local mountains (Wrightwood, Lake Arrowhead, Big Bear, etc).

The founding members of the Joshua Pines Arabian Horse Association are proud to announce a membership drive and organizational meeting. Come meet and socialize with fellow enthusiasts of the beautiful Arabian horse! Whether you are interested in showing, trail rides or just plain talking horses we urge one and all to join us. Our meeting will be held at the Bob's Big Boy Restaurant in Hesperia at 12728 W. Hey you! It was good talking to you, as usual.

Looks like we're going to get a great group. I am so looking forward to it -- no more commuting down the hill for meetings! Yay!

Yes...that is one of the reasons I am most looking forward to starting this new affiliate club...no more commuting down the hill for a meeting! That's the main reason I never attend any of the meetings...after working 60 hrs a weeks driving up and down the Cajon Pass...I just don't want to go back down for a meeting...and no meeting was ever arranged for the High Desert..not even an occasional one...so in addition to meeting some of the great new horse people that have moved to the High Desert, we will get to remain local! See you there!

Any ideas for folks like me in Hawaii for Region 1? chat room...wish I could physically meet with your fine folks but kind of impossible, I'd say! hehehe.

Hesperia is as far for me as lancaster - the other club of the high desert... We are just in between.
Are you organizing shows or rides? Depending where it is, I might go.

Hi Christine!

I'm sorry I didn't see this a whole lot sooner, but yes, we are planning to have a whole lot of various events, a local show series, some ACS shows, fun trail rides, BBQ's and all sorts of horsey and non-horsey get togethers. We are also looking at doing some things in conjunction with the ADHA (the Lancaster/Palmdale, etc club you mentioned) ~ they are in Region 2, we're Region 1, so the thought is great!
