Welcome to Arabian Breeders Network
Achaean Arabians
We are located in historic horse country in Northern Virginia. Our farm is home to three Straight Egyptian stallions sharing the honor of having some of the best bloodlines still available in the US.

Since 1981 we have been involved with Arabians, starting with the purchase of our *Morafic grandson, Harem Shamahsheik. At age 28, Sheik is still going strong and still loves to drive the wagons for community events.

I'm always amazed where Arabs pop up. I guess after the Arabian craze of the 60-70's these are the forgotten ones that end up in backyards, 4h clubs and small town parades. Here are a couple I spotted at our local 4th of July parade. I thought they looked pretty Polish to me. I'd be interested to know their pedigree. After all I got my first Polish Arabian mare from a horse trader for $800 and she was a Negatiw X Andorra mare.

It's too bad they don't have helmets on those kids, those yarn reins don't look like they would stop anything

Very Cute though smile.gif

yeah but she looks like a really killer too!!!. So much for crazy arabs. They are out there in our 4 h clubs and back yards as prized best friends.

copper

I agree about the helmet and to actually use the bit just for safety sakes but what a nice mare.

Great pics showing how Arabs take care of their humans and out with other horses and people. Here are some pics of my daugther who was born with cerebral palsy with her crazy Arabian and another pic with a well known stallion who was so sweet to her when she got to ride him he was so careful of her. I have found that Arabians are very procected of their humans, Shanda works with all of our Arabians including foals and stallions.

Oooohhhh, ya'll are makin' me cry, STOP IT! Wipes snotty nose, HONK! How magnificent are these creatures we get to love and pet and feed and ride and breed? I am so humbled and honored to be in their presence, but, then when they take such exquisite care of our little ones and those with special needs, well...what more can you say? They are our patron saints and guardian angels, I truly believe it! God bless them - one and all. The two hottest mares I have ever owned were BOTH total lambs with my little bitty (then) inexperienced daughter, never a foot misplaced nor an eyelash out of place. With ME? They tried and did EVERYTHING, rofl, but never with her. Incredible!

Aren't they all beautiful. I love seeing the Arabs with the kids and they all have the same content look on their faces as if they know. Here's my oldest daughter with our mare, Forever Elkin (Czara). This was a horse I never would have thought would have made a good kids horse in her younger days but she has turned out to be fantastic with the kids.
