Well, I know it's been a lil while. I've been busy busy w/ trying to find a trainer, in-laws coming to town (staying the entire weekend woohoo) and all the other stuff that takes up my day LOL...
Well, one more week to go for work - I can't wait to start my new job. The unprofessionalism shown to me since I've put in my 2 weeks is appalling... I'm glad I'm leaving!!
Workouts are still going well, next week I start the new weight-training workout. Wish me luck!! It's gonna kick my butt. Then I'm taking two weeks off from doing weights and doing just straight cardio. Oh joy!! LOL
Anyways, I think I've found a trainer. She's about an hour away from me, but her facility looks amazing from her website and all the little "extras" like show coaching, lessons, etc are included in her training fee. I'm hoping to go meet her in person and see her facility this weekend. I'm waiting on a call back to confirm. I'm sooooooo excited!! Rex won't know what hit him! LOL 2007 Show Season, here we come!!
I'll post my shows here on a blog and maybe on the calendar so if anyone wants to come by and say HI if you are there, we'd love to meet you!!
Well, that's it for me.... thankfully, the light at the end of the tunnel is finally showing brightly....

Well, the light at the end of the tunnel is getting closer. I got to talk to the barn owner at the farm I want to send my guys off for training at. I'm still waiting to hear from the trainer. I am gonna try to call today. I cannot wait to get my guys in training!!! This is so exciting. The barn owner was a bit surprised that I won't be needing them to show my horses for me nor will I be paying to haul with them to shows, but she seemed okay with it. I am a veteran shower, I know the routine, so I don't feel the need to pay someone to care for my horses while there. She did say one weird thing tho, that "if your horses are quality" we'll make the room to train them. I sure hope my guys are the quality they need to be to get in LOLOL I have no doubts that my guys are the quality....they just haven't had the benefit of all the jazzy snazzy stuff that some of the horses who have owners w/ bottomless pockets have had LOL But, they are great quality, wonderful breeding and good, willing attitudes - or will have the attitude after training
Anyways, my workout today was cardio - I need to ramp it up a bit....the low-impact fat burning is just not doin it for me. So, I'm gonna ramp it up on Thursday.... Tomorrow is more weight training. One more week and I start the Diamond Body workout by LL Cool J for 4 weeks, then I'm taking at least a week off and doing just cardio - possibly twice a day to burn off some of this fat and see if I can't slim it down a bit.
Well, that's it for me!!!

Well, yesterday I did "Bi-lateral squats" you stand on one leg, w/ dumbells in each hand, and then lower yourself on one leg - keeping your center of balance over the bridge of your foot. It didn't seem too bad yesterday when I did them, I could only go down so far before I felt like I was gonna fall on my butt, but I got thru them just fine w/ only 5lbs in each hand....
Today however.... OUCH!!!! It really burned the sides of my gluteals (my butt muscles LOL) and now, w/ me wearing heels for work.... wowowieeee!!! I did a good cardio workout this morning on the cross trainer - sweated a ton and feel really good this morning. Unfortunately, I have nothing to do at work but to blog here LOL
So far tho, it's going..... I'm energized and lookin to do something....
I went to visit Rex and Phoe last nite. It was too hectic outside to do much - windy and construction going on not 50 feet away...I didn't want to risk them hurting themselves by being idiots. So, I groomed Rex, checked the crack in his foot, and re-bagged his tail. The crack is healing, looking really good, and not too ouchy. His tail has grown about 2 inches or so, and is soft and silky.... I can't wait to see it in a few months - it should start to thicken w/ the infusium and bagging..... it's gonna be sooo pretty!! He's eating his bellboots, and flapping them around his stall. I think I need to find a toy for him in his stall.
Still nothing on the job.....but I have faith!!!
That's it for me today.....Hope everyone reading has a GREAT day!!

I know it's been a while. I'm still goin strong w/ the exercise.... It's feeling good to get up and start my day w/ a jolt of exercise!! I'm down to 148lbs, enjoying the weight watchers points system for my food. I actually had to "up" my caloric intake - and funny, that's spurred on weight loss. Gotta keep calories in my system to lose some weight... Love it!!
I had a good weekend, enjoyed watching Nascar yesterday - what a phenominal finish...wow...just amazing LOL
My hubby has the day off today, I, however, do not Oh well. I plan on going out to the farm tonite, gotta duct tape Rex's bell boot on his foot. He apparently keeps eating it off!! LOL He's shredded some velcro - so, hopefully tape will keep the stupid thing on him... if not...well, they were cheap boots anyway and he's stupid.
I still haven't heard whether or not I got the job - but I know the offer will come soon and I'll be able to get my guys in training. The weather's supposed to be nicer this week.... I'll check and see if any rain is coming, but it sounds like it's gonna start to get warmer.
Well, that's it for me. Hope everyone has a great week!!

The weather has turned nasty... cold, windy, wet..... I'm getting depressed. Still haven't heard anything on the job, have nothing to do at my current job - literally, nothing. I maybe do 2 hours of work at most and I'm here for 8. I guess I'll have to talk to my boss about getting something to do..... this sucks.
I broke down in tears yesterday as it just feels like nothing is going my way right now. No one's calling me about this job, I can't work my horses, I'm bored at work, and while my workouts are good - I just don't feel like I'm making progress. So, I just lay there and cried in bed....this sucks... My husband was very upset at me for being so negative, but I just don't feel like anything's getting accomplished lately.... it's very upsetting.....
Oh well, I'm gonna keep pluggin away....
