Well, we went to Region 9 without a trainer. We tried hard, but no luck. We went TT but it's pretty clear that the big boys on the end of the lead will ALWAYS place above us. That's ok, it's been a valuable learning experience. The horse has been evaluated by a couple of trainers, he's Nationals quality, but unless we send him to a trainer, no such luck. We are evaluating to whom we shall send him and will make a decision shortly. He probably will NOT be campaigned until his 3rd or 4th year though, since I'm not interested in breeding him before then.

Unfortunately, I think I'm in the growing number who feel that while the scoring SHOULD have made a difference, nothing has changed and nothing will.
