About me huh... well, I'm 16 yrs old, a Junior at DHS. I own a purebred Arabian named Psaint VF, he is the best horse I could ask for. I bought him as a 3 yr old stallion, and he has taught me more than anyone or thing in the world. He is now very competitive in Hunter Pleasure. I work part time for my trainer Cari Thompson, she is amazing. I can not describe how much I love being at her barn. I have worked there for 4 years, and I have worked my way up to actually being able to school horses and warm them up for her at shows. I love working with horses, no matter how hard or long the work is. Last fall Cari brought one of her horses into the barn, and I have done a lot of the training with him. It is so amazing to show a horse that I helped to train to a Regional Top 5 and Santa Barbara Championship. Working for Cari has really helped me to decide what I want to do with my future. One day I am going to train Arabian show horses. I love to meet people who have horses. This year I have met some people who share my dreams, and see things the way I do. Now that I have met them, I cannot imagine life without them, and I am beyond glad to be able to call them my friends. Horse shows are the best, I love mobbing on golf carts! This year I learned a ton, mainly about who I can rely on, and where my priorities lie.

Arabian People:
We know about love and loss. We know how to fight back the tears from the big losses and save them for the even bigger wins. We know how to sweat and how to bleed. We know how late nights and early mornings feel. We know how it feels to have this running through our veins. We know how it is to close your eyes at night and still feel like you're cantering. We know how to smile like a million bucks after three weeks of no sleep. We love a little different, but we're loyal to the end. We can grit our teeth through pain and still feel like we're floating on a cloud. We're a special breed. Say what you will but...never hate us for who we are.
